Wrote... Hi there, just found your site, pictures of Poppets pups are adorable. i've got Jet, Meg and Taz- all under two. when Meg is older we will be taking a litter from her. Springers are the best dogs you could ask for. my three are working dogs - this is their first season (still in training though) they're doing great - love picking up, water and getting extremely muddy. I've added your site to my favourites and will be visiting again.

Wrote... When ever I feel like being cheered up I spend 5 minutes or so visiting Canouan. It is an excellent place to browse. Thank you. I too have been infected by the 'ESS' bug. Mine is a 5 year old, liver and white dog called Hoover. He is such good company and has such a wicked sense of humour. However bad a day one might have had at work I always know everything will be ok once I get home. I guess we are the only family who bought their house because it suited their dog and the only family who takes two x one week holidays purely for the enjoyment of a certain canine who LOVES the sea, swimming and beach walking. He is Devon bred and is from working stock. He has never worked and, indeed, plays with the rabbits that we meet on walks. A hopeless case but one very laid-back springer. Hope you are getting ready for your busy shooting weekends. Many thanks again. Lesley

Wrote... Really enjoyed your web site. My Springer,Tralay Robert the Bruce (Robbie)is 16 mths old and is a very handsome boy. He is my 3rd springer. Josh & Jake were from working stock. Robbie has proved to be just as good in the field as the other two, he has a very good nose,is excellant at retrieving and will go into the undergrowth no matter how thick, to search for the object that has been thrown.It proves the breeders of working springers wrong when they say that show springers have lost the ability to work.

He was from Summerset England in a home with a lot of kids and the lady that had him before me did not have time for him she did not take him for a walk he lived in the back garden. When I got him he was very thin but he is ok now. We are going on holiday on saturday for two weeks to cornwall England it will be his first holiday.
