I had not had the chance to visit Crufts since I moved to France in 2007, and was really looking forward to the day. Pomo was entered in the Special Working Gundog Class in the breed ring and the English Springer Spaniel (Dog) Class in the Gamekeepers Ring

With a round trip of 2,700kms ahead of us we set out on the Friday morning for the Crufts Gundog Day on the Sunday

We had a super day, meeting lots of people that we had not seen for a very long time, and the icing on the cake was first place red ribbons in both classes, and being awarded the Shooting Times Trophy, Pomo following in the footsteps of his Aunty Rachel who had won the trophy in 2005.

Almost home on the Tuesday we stopped in the Correze for some quality time together in the sunshine.
